UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Silverline Umber Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Milwaukee serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
