UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Willow Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Boston. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
