UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Summit Pike Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 470 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
