UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Vale Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Minneapolis, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
