UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Fernwood Sable Pharma is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for regulatory filings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around regulatory filings that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory filings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
