UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Meadow Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
