UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Foxglove Beacon Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
