UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Pine Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
