UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Nova Vista Financial serves customers across Boston with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
