UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Amberfield Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Miami presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in event logistics. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
