UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Quarry Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
