UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Ironwood Haven Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Madison, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
