UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Northwind Pine Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
