UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
