UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Summit Kestrel Pharma develops and makes medicines in Honolulu, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Quality is everyone's job here, not a department. What you will do • Design for tasks around batch records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in batch records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
