UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Lumen Cobalt Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
