UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Amberfield Pine Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
