UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Pike Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
