UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bluepeak Cobalt Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Minneapolis. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
