UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Foxglove Ridge Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
