UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Rowan Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
