UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Highbridge Technologies runs a venue and education programmes in Milwaukee, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 983 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school partnerships. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
