UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Nova Wilder Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Detroit, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 453 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
