UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Lumen Vista Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Providence. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
