UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Nova Meadow Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
