UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Amberfield Rook Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Tulsa. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
