UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vale Community Partners Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
