UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Stonegate Timber Markets serves neighbourhoods around Houston with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
