UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Thistle Medical is a Boise company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
