UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Silverline Willow Community Partners runs community programmes across Salt Lake City. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
