UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Harborlight Field Markets is a Toledo retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
