UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Maple Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 543 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in regulatory reports. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
