UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Ember Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Denver area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
