UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Harborlight Cobalt Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Knoxville, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
