UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Quill Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Anchorage, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
