UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Maple Markets serves neighbourhoods around Madison with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
