UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Meridian Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
