UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bluepeak Health runs clinics and patient services around Buffalo, and we need a UX Designer to lead our research and testing. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
