UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Silverline Thistle Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Salt Lake City. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
