UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Foxglove Ember Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Wichita. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
