UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Cedar Health Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a large organisation of about 714 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
