UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Northwind River Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
