UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Cedar Nest Early Learning runs childcare centres in Phoenix caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
