UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
