UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Redstone Cobalt Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 406 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
