UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Harborlight Ember Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
