UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Harborlight Lakeside Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Cleveland. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on research and testing. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
