UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Bright Bridge Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
