UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Summit Kestrel Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
