UX Designer - research and testing (remote)

Cedar Amber Medical Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for training materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
